A student’s day does not end at 3:00 p.m. and neither does the educational experience at St. Peter’s. In an effort to support the diverse needs of parents and students, St. Peter’s offers a variety of afterschool programs that provide meaningful learning experiences in an environment that is safe and caring.
DESTINATION DISCOVERYThe cornerstone of St. Peter’s afterschool programs is Destination Discovery, an on-site science enrichment program that begins at 3 p.m. and continues until 6 p.m. Implemented to accommodate working parents and to ensure students have a meaningful and reliable afterschool experience, Destination Discovery represents a partnership between St. Peter’s and the Creative Discovery Museum (CDM). Managed by the educational professionals at CDM, Destination Discovery operates every afternoon throughout the school year and is available to all students, ages 3 years old through 5th Grade.
OTHER AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMSBecause students’ interests are broad and unique, the schedule of afterschool activities is diverse. Offerings vary each semester, but may include Pee Wee Pep Squad (cheerleading), Soccer Shots, dance, acrobats, yoga, and some organized team sports through the YMCA and/or other local athletic organizations. Costs associated with afterschool programs are not included in tuition and vary from program to program. |
