Legacy Families

St. Peter's attracts generations of families. Legacy families are students and alumni whose families, including parents, grandparents, and/or siblings, attended or currently attend St. Peter's Episcopal School. We recognize these families for their continued generational support and commitment to St. Peter's.

Alumni Spotlight

Kristopher Kennedy, a member of the SPES alumni class of 2012, has taken on the role of a dedicated educator, inspired by the exceptional teaching he experienced at St. Peter's. Currently employed at the Windward School in New York, he serves as a seventh-grade teacher specializing in Language Arts and Social Studies. The Windward School focuses on catering to students with dyslexia and other language-based disabilities.

Kristopher holds a degree from Sewanee: The University of the South, where he pursued a double major in English and Creative Writing. During his time at Sewanee, he distinguished himself as a Theatre Fellow, taking on notable roles such as Polonius in "Hamlet" and Benedick in "Much Ado About Nothing." His academic achievements include receiving honors, distinction, and the commencement prize in English. Additionally, Kristopher's talent in Creative Writing was recognized with the prestigious Tennessee Williams Award.

In thinking about his favorite St. Peter's memory, Kristopher fondly recalled reading 'The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane' with Mrs. Schlosser in third grade. That was the moment he fell in love with a book in a way he hadn't known was possible. It sparked a surge of curiosity within him and a sense of wonder.
